FAQ’s

Practical sessions are in small groups of 2-6 people, allowing you the maximum time to practice your new skills.  All students receive individual attention and questions can be asked at any point during the sessions.

Course costs?

Costs vary with the courses taken.  Guild Accredited courses involve full payment before the course will be confirmed and your instructions are sent.  Due to the requirement for modules to be done at home, we require full payment before we can enrol you onto the course.

How long will the course take?

Course times vary.  Online courses are theory only, and depend on the time you have available, as well as how long it takes for you to pass the online exam.  On completion of the theory modules for courses with a practical element, your practical sessions will vary, depending on the requirement of the course.  The practical hours required are on the individual course pages.

Course attire?

For professional courses, we require students to be tidy, preferably wearing dark trousers, but wearing a uniform is not compulsory.  Jeans are not recommended due to inability to stretch comfortably, and the possibility of overheating.  Suitable clothing could be a short sleeve t-shirt, cardigan and trousers.  Flat or low heel footwear is recommended.

Remove all jewellery, and leave it at home, however a wedding band is acceptable.  Nails should be tidy and allow you to perform treatments and therapies.  The preference is for unpolished, clean nails.
