If you are not already a current member of the Guild of Beauty Therapists, you will also be required to pay a student membership of £25 to the Guild after we register you. If you upgrade to full membership within 3 months of taking out student membership, that £25 will be discounted from the full price for that year.

The course is fully accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists for membership and insurance.
Performing a Body Massage treatment is an opportunity for you to give your client a relaxing and enjoyable treatment designed to encourage a feeling of well being.
This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional full body massage and includes a practical training session and assessment.
This GTi Body Massage course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers reception, consultation and ventilation. It also covers anatomy and physiology, contra-indications and contra-actions, skin conditions, preparing for treatment, massage techniques and a full body massage routine.
The GTi Body Massage course includes the GTi Professional Standards course, usually priced at £49 + VAT, for all students who have not completed this course.
The GTi Body Massage Award is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body.
The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images, video clips and a voice-over. Upon completion of the online theory modules, you will receive a PDF manual which you can refer back to. Twenty-one of the modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available.
You will also be assessed at a one-day assessment at our practical training centre. You will have the opportunity to practice the routine on friends and family before being assessed. On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi Body Massage certificate which is acceptable for insurance purposes with The Guild of Beauty Therapists.
This course covers the technique for performing a full body massage routine. Theory is delivered online with clear diagrams and audio. Practical training is taught in a one day session at a choice of UK locations. Reception, consultation and aftercare guidance is covered as well as contra-indications to treatment. Photographs and videos ensure this course is both engaging and informative to give you the confidence to perform body massage treatments.
