GTi Facial Treatments – Venue & Online Practicals Available

Pre-Requisites and Enrolment Process

If you are not already a current member of the Guild of Beauty Therapists, you will also be required to pay a student membership of £25 to the Guild after we register you.  If you upgrade to full membership within 3 months of taking out student membership, that £25 will be discounted from the full price for that year.

Course Length: approx 16 hours of study and 8 hours of practical.

Performing a facial treatment is an opportunity for you to give your client a relaxing and enjoyable treatment designed to improve and rejuvenate their skin.

This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional facial and includes a practical training session and assessment.

The GTi Facial Treatment course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers reception, consultation and ventilation. It also covers anatomy and physiology, contra-indications and contra-actions, skin conditions, skin analysis, preparation, skin types and product selection, preparing for treatment, technique and aftercare.

The GTi Facial Treatment course includes the GTi Professional Standards course, which is usually priced at £49 + VAT, for all students who have not completed this course.

The GTi Facial Treatment Award is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body.

The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images, video clips and a voice-over. Upon completion of the online theory modules, you will receive a PDF manual which you can refer back to. All sixteen of the modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available.

You will also complete a one day assessment at Sanctuary Training Academy in Aberdeen. You will have the opportunity to practice the routine on friends and family before being assessed by an experienced tutor at a time to suit you. On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi Facial certificate.
